Answer classes in Aachen

When correcting exams, a distinction is often only made between correct and incorrect answers. A more precise analysis, especially of incorrect answers, is often not possible for resource reasons. To address this, answer classes for exam questions were developed deductively in the project, which then only need to be selected during correction. This simplifies the correction effort and also ensures a fairer performance evaluation. In addition, the data can be used later to adapt learner models.

Dominic Lohr presented the results and the annual conference Hochschuldidaktik Informatik in Aachen. The accompanying proceedings paper has also been published and can be found here.
